¿Ciudad Inteligente o Ciudad Automatizada?
Resumen
Ante los problemas ecológicos que han detonado en estos últimos años, se han buscado diferentes formas de aportar a la reducción de la huella de carbono. Una de ellas tiene que ver directamente con las grandes urbes, que son los lugares que más aglomeran habitantes: las ciudades inteligentes.
El concepto de ciudad inteligente hace referencia a aquella urbe en la cual los factores social, ambiental, tecnológico y económico están en sintonía para brindar a sus habitantes una calidad de vida de primer mundo. Actualmente, esta armonía tiene su base en el factor tecnológico, ya que los sistemas de seguridad, ahorro de energía y reciclaje en hogares, zonas públicas y otros inmuebles (como edificios ejecutivos o plantas de producción), dependen de este.
En este trabajo, se profundiza acerca de lo que implica este término, y si en verdad existen ciudades inteligentes hoy en día.

Abstract
Given the ecological problems that have triggered in recent years, different ways of contributing to the reduction of the carbon footprint have been sought. One of them has to do directly with the big cities, which are the places that most agglomerate inhabitants: smart cities.
The concept of smart city refers to that city in which the social, environmental, technological and economic factors are in tune to provide its inhabitants with a first-world quality of life. Currently, this harmony is based on the technological factor, since security, energy saving and recycling systems in homes, public areas and other buildings (such as executive buildings or production plants), depend on it.
In this work, we delve into what this term implies, and if there really are smart cities today.
