Los Museos del INAH: Evolución Institucional y sus nuevos retos
Resumen
Este artículo se centra en mostrar la evolución de los museos del Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH), desde el primer museo que existió en el territorio nacional, la creación del Instituto y su devenir en el tiempo. Se presentan los acuerdos internacionales con respecto a la salvaguarda del patrimonio cultural que se preserva en esos recintos y la alineación de México a sus normas. Así mismo, se aborda la normatividad del INAH desde la Coordinación Nacional de Museos y Exposiciones, y se analizan los puntos que faltan por satisfacer para que los recintos museísticos a cargo del Instituto permanezcan vigentes ante una sociedad actual.

Abstract
This article focuses on the development of the museums run by the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), since the opening of the first museum to the creation of the Institute and its different changes. International agreements are presented regarding the safeguarding of the cultural heritage that is preserved in these precincts and Mexico’s alignment with those standards. It also addresses the matter of regulations issued by the INAH National Coordination of Museums and Exhibitions, and the points that remain to be satisfied are analyzed, as well as some recommendations to keep the museums alive at the actual social demands are given.
